Empire’s performing artist, Jussie Smollett has quite recently been named a suspect for purportedly recording a bogus police report in which he asserted he was assaulted in Chicago a month ago.
The move comes a long time after the Empire performer disclosed to Chicago police he was assaulted on January 29th by two men who tossed a detergent like compound on him, called him against gay slurs, and put a rope around his neck.
Giving a notice working on it, Chicago Police representative, Anthony Gugliemi tweeted, ‘Jussie Smollett is presently formally named a suspect in a criminal examination by #ChicagoPolice for documenting a bogus police report (Class 4 lawful offense). Investigators are at present displaying proof before a Cook County Grand Jury’.
